It’s MY Sausage

In a classic cartoon conundrum, there is one sausage and five cats. Will the yellow cat keep its declarative possession while its mates scheme and connive to steal it?

Both the illustrations and the color scheme are simple yet dynamic, conveying the comical antics of the five felines wonderfully. The simple text is easy to follow, emergent readers should have no problems keeping up with the story and will enjoy reading aloud words such as “Yoink!, Whoosh!, and Splat” that so perfectly propel the story. While the outcome will be anticipated by adults, it is still a humorous twist that children will enjoy. This is a great library addition for cat lovers of all ages.

I received a free copy of this book, from Maverick Publishing, in exchange for an honest review.

  2. I’ve written one children’s book, called “The Cat Without A Purr”. Cats and dogs are always great characters for children’s books. I love this idea. I hope Alex Willmore sells zillions of copies.
