Elaina has a problem. She kissed Sam Christmas under the mistletoe and she liked it. She and Sam had been verbal sparring partners since grade school, this was not a twist that she saw coming. She needs to keep her head on straight and focus on getting to her long awaited trip to Paris for Christmas. Mooning over the boy she loves to hate has no room in her plans.
This was an endearing short story about a boy who has finally decided what he wants from life and sets out to convince the girl that she is it. Filled with eccentric characters like Grandma Day, who fill in the corners quite nicely, it made for quick, fun afternoon read.
